Grounded Electrical Construction completed the electrical scope of work for the tenant fit-out for Blue Bottle Coffee located on P Street in Washington, DC. Our scope of work included interior lighting, lighting control, gear, wiring devices, equipment connections, fire alarm and low-voltage infrastructure. 

Under project manager Larry Cartee, Grounded Electrical Construction worked with B&R Construction Services on the renovation of the restrooms and food court at Westfield Annapolis Mall. Grounded Electrical Construction performed the electrical scope of work for the corridor renovation at Ring House in Rockville, MD. Our scope of work included removal, disposal and replacement of nearly 300 light fixtures in a fully occuiped and operational senior living facility. 

Grounded Electrical Construction was awarded the contract to perform the electrical scope of work at University of Maryland Baltimore - United States Postal Server Maintenance Facility located in Baltimore, MD from The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. Grounded Electrical Construction has been tapped to perform the electrical and site lighting work for The Collection in Chevy Chase, MD. The Collection will be renovated in phases to include upscale exterior light and controls, an outdoor amphitheater, fountains, water features, and new parking controls. When Turner Construction's Baltimore office was relocated to Koppers Street, they called on Grounded Electrical Constuction to perform the electrical scope of work for the interior fit-out of their new office. Grounded's scope of work included selective demolition, temporary lighting & power, interior lighting, lighting controls, gear, wiring devices, equipment connections, fire alarm and low-voltage infrastructure. 

Grounded Electrical Construction installed ten Tesla Superchargers along with a 2-section 1,00A switchboard to feed them at the Chesapeake House Travel Plaza along I-95 in Cecil County, MD. Each charging station has a dedicated 100A circuit to rapidly charge Tesla Electric Vehicles. Work was performed while the Travel Plaza was occupied and operational.

Grounded is working closely with ADI Construction of Virginia on the electrical and fire alarm renovation of a 1,122 square foot space. This fast paced project will include (2) new 15KVA UPS with a paralleling cabinet, light fixtures, wiring devices, networked fire alarm system and telecommunication rough-in.

The project is set to start in May 2017 with a completion date of June 2017.

Grounded Electrical Construction will complete all of the electrical and low voltage work for the Robert Poole Building #56 (High School). The school was originally built in 1923 and will undergo major renovation and addition.

Grounded Electrical Construction is thrilled to be working with Grunley Mascaro Construction to provide in ground LED lighting for Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus signage. In addition, Grounded Electrical Construction will provide power to the LED display board, and install all circuitry below grade using trenching and directional boring techniques.
