Baltimore County Public Schools with Dustin Construction as construction manager has awarded Grounded Electrical Construction the 16A - Electrical & Low Voltage Package for the new Deer Park Elementary School in Owings Mills, MD. Construction of the new 2-story, 102,853 square foot elementary school is anticipated to start in August 2023 and be completed by May 2025. Once completed, this will be Baltimore County Public Schools first Net-Zero school with roof mount and car canopy photovoltaic system generating an estimated 694 kWh annually. The facility consists of classrooms, gymnasium, kitchen, cafeteria/theater stage, music rooms, pre-kindergarten, community activity room, offices, administrative spaces, outdoor playgrounds, parking lot and bus loop.
