Central District Retail: Phase 1

Grounded Electrical Construction has been selected as the electrical contractor for a project in Crystal City, VA. The construction of this project is envisioned to be the catalyst in the implementation of the Crystal City Sector Plan and initiates the dynamic transformation of the Crystal City neighborhood. This construction consists of a new movie theatre, retail expansion to accommodate a grocer and other in-line retail at the existing 18th street office building. The construction will take place over multiple phases. Grounded Electrical will be responsible to install all new switchgear in the new electrical room, new lighting and controls for the shell spaces of the theatre and grocer, new site lighting for the main entrance and sidewalk of the building, distribution equipment for theatre space and grocer, new fire alarm for theatre space, extension of extension fire alarm for the grocer space, wiring devices, mechanical equipment connections, telecommunications infrastructure, audio/video infrastructure and security infrastructure. The project is currently underway and will be completed in 18 months.
