The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company has awarded the electrical subcontract to Grounded Electrical Construction for the new Clauson Center for Innovation and Skilled Trades at Anne Arundel Community College. This new 1-story 11,288 square foot facility will  house the latest technology and facilities needed to equip students for a successful career in the skilled building trades, including forklift operation, welding, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical. 

Grounded Electrical Constructions scope of work includes (but not limited to) the following:

  • Site Utiities - Primary, Secondary and Telecommunication Ductbanks
  • Coordination, Short Circuit and Arc-Flash Studies
  • Temporary Power and Lighting
  • Lighting and Controls
  • Gear
  • Wiring Devices
  • Equipment Connections
  • Fire Alarm
  • Mass Notification
  • Low Voltage Infrastructure
