Westfield Montgomery Mall Expansion

Work has begun for the Westfield Montgomery Mall revitalization project, which includes the addition of a 16-screen, 60,000 square foot ArcLight Cinema, the theater chain’s first East Coast location. The new ArcLight Cinema will sit above the parking garage located on the west side of the property, adjacent to the existing food court.

Grounded Electrical Construction has been awarded the contract to renovate the existing food court and public areas, which requires new lighting fixtures, fire alarm system, HVAC equipment and general power. Additionally, the food court is being expanded to link the mall structure to the parking garage structure, where two new restaurants and the Cinema will be added. This addition requires a completely new electrical service and generator for power. New site lighting will also be installed to enhance the exterior walkways.

Completion for the Food Court expansion and parking garage is projected for late Fall 2013, and the ArcLight Cinema is expected to open in Spring 2014.
