Graceland Park/O'Donnell Heights & Holabird Academy Elementary/Middle Schools Win USGBC Maryland Climate Champions Award!

Grounded Electrical Construction is pleased to learn that our Graceland Park/O'Donnell Heights and Holabird Academy Elementary/Middle Schools won the United States Green Building Congress Maryland Climate Champion Award at USGBC MD's award ceremony in Baltimore on September 27th. To qualify for this award, the project (or in this case projects) must demonstrate an advanced commitment to health and wellness in buildings and spaces as well as be certified under the LEED or WELL rating systems per USGBC's website. Congratulations to Baltimore City Public Schools, Grimm + Parker Architects, Setty + Associates International (electrical engineer) and CAM Construction (general contractor) for designing and building such amazing, climate friendly school. In addition to this USGBC MD award, Ground Electrical Construction also won an Award of Excellence in Construction from ABC Greater Baltimore in 2020 for electrical construction between $5-10 million.
